Employee Spotlight: Katie Hira

Katie is a New Homes Sales Consultant, so she is someone you may work with directly when choosing to build a home with Pacific Lifestyle Homes. She will work with you right from the start, guiding you through the process of buying and building a new home.

While she’s a new member of our team, having joined us in June, she has a wealth of experience. As she explains, “I have been a real estate agent for 16 years. I spent about 13 years in residential new home sales for both local and national home builders, and an additional 3 years as a resale agent.”

Her years of experience are backed up with her industry recognition, having received multiple awards over the years. Among them are New Home Sales Council Nominee Sales Team of the Year 2016, D.R HORTON Peer of the Year 2016, New Home Sales Council Sales Person of the Year 2017, New Home Sales Council Sales Team of the Year 2018, and New Home Sales Council Sales Community of the Year/ Single Family 2018. In addition, she’s been a member of the Tacoma Pierce County Women’s Council of Realtors since 2021.

All of this means that you’re in good hands throughout the entire process. As well as spending the day on site at our model homes, she’s there to help new clients find just the right home. As part of her day-to-day work, she says, “I spend time in the discovery phase and help educate clients so they can narrow it down to a one-of-a-kind home that suits them for purchase.” Once you’ve found that home and are under contract, she is there to walk you through the construction process, and ultimately deliver the keys to your brand new home.

A native of California, she’s been married to her high school sweetheart, Vijay, for more than 20 years, and they have three children, Gabriel, Julianna and Vivienne. “When I am not working I love spending time with my family, traveling, spending time at our vacation home in Eastern Washington, and working out. We are a big football family and love to gather for games and food.”
