Floor Plan: Sequoia
July 27, 2022
Anyone looking at Vancouver WA homes will find plenty to love about the Sequoia floor plan. This single-level home offers convenience, space, style, and comfort. Plus, with the flexibility in the design that allows you to build your ideal version of the Sequoia, you know you’ll end up with your dream home at the end. Of course, if you are looking to move in quicker, there’s currently a Sequoia waiting for you if you don’t delay.
With four exteriors that range from classic to modern, you’ll be amazed at how the Sequoia can easily fit your preferences before you even walk in the door. Plus, there’s a spacious covered front porch to make the home even more appealing and welcoming. Inside, you’ll have the option of three to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, a two or three-car garage, and 2,596 square feet. It may be one story, but there’s a lot of space to ensure everyone has the privacy they need, as well as the room to come together comfortably.
You enter into a welcoming entry that provides privacy for the rest of the home. Just off the entry is a den that is ideal for the in-demand home office. There’s also a coat closet for convenience. The entry then leads you down a coffered ceiling hallway that passes the formal dining room. On the other side of the hallway, just past the dining room is an entrance that leads to two bedrooms with a full bathroom between them. The doorway into this section of the home also provides that needed privacy.
Across from the dining room is the open plan great room, kitchen, and nook. The great room truly is spacious and airy. Next to it is a large kitchen with a walk-in pantry and an island that can accommodate seating if you choose. Past the dining room is a nook area that can be extended, but even as is, works well as a more casual dining area, though it could easily be a cozy reading nook or space for another home office or a place for the kids to do their homework. Flexibility is key in all of our home designs.
A hallway that intersects the front of the home from the back of the home leads to a laundry room with a linen closet and access to the garage, and then the hall turns to provide another private entrance to the main bedroom suite. Here, you’ll find a spacious bedroom, a spa-like bathroom, complete with optional skylight, and a large walk-in closet.
As with all of our homes, there are always additional options you can choose to further enhance the already appealing standard floor plan. Many include architectural details like coffered and tray ceilings, along with gas fireplaces, built-ins surrounding the fireplace, a sink in the laundry room, along with a variety of ways to use and rework some of the rooms in the home. The den can turn into an en suite bedroom. The dining room can be used to create a deep storage closet and an additional powder room. Even the kitchen/nook area has the option of a built-in desk. These are just some of the extra options that help you turn the Sequoia into your perfect home.
