The Community Giving House was designed to build a home completely for the benefit of charity, while also partnering with our many trade partners to help them be part of something bigger. Since the first Community Giving Home built-in 2014, 16 homes have been built with over $780,000 being donated to make a difference with local families. The inception of the Community Giving House signified a company commitment to building a stronger, healthier local community where families can flourish, businesses can prosper and today’s youth can become tomorrow’s leaders. We considered the legacy we want to leave our successors — one of charitable contribution, altruism, and philanthropy that begets a prosperous, connected community. We wanted to be part of something bigger. By aligning ourselves with strategic community partners, Pacific Lifestyle Homes has identified charities that make daily contributions to the health, wellness, and sustainability of our growing region. We were discerning in our choices, and we are proud of the relationships we have fostered with southwest Washington organizations that exist to enact change and challenge the disparities and struggles faced by far too many families today. Some of the local charities that receive proceeds from the Community Giving House are:
The Children’s Center • Assistance League of SW Washington • Building Futures Foundation • Transitional Youth • Share House • Clark County Food Bank • Forward Edge International • Evergreen Habitat for Humanity • Fosterful • Northwest Association for Blind Athletes • Open House Ministries • Bridge the Gap Ministries • Interstate Walk & Knock of Clark County • Kitsap Homes of Compassion • The Coffee Oasis • The Rotary Foundation • Windermere Foundation • South Kitsap Helpline • Lakewood Steilacoom Young Life
“We are thankful to be in a position where we are able to give back and help others. We are so appreciative of our valued trade partners who have bought into this idea. We want to make a difference in the lives of families in the communities we build in,”
