Rest Your RV at Your New Home

RV ownership is at a record high, and nearly 40% of RV owners are Millennials. Only a small percentage of people live in their RV year round, so that means you need somewhere to store your RV when you’re not out exploring. This is why home builders are starting to add RV garage options to their homes in Ridgefield WA. Our Timberline floor plan is a perfect example.

While there are places to park your RV when not in use, there are obviously fees involved. Some people do park them in their own driveway, but neighbors may complain, and home owner associations typically forbid it. This is where RV garages come to your rescue. Specifically designed garages connected to your regular garage at home keep your RV protected and out of sight, and don’t cost you extra every month.

There’s a growing need for this kind of option, but they can be hard to find. This is why we have designed our Timberline floor plan to include an RV-specific garage bay. This is just one more way we strive to create a variety of home styles to easily adapt to your lifestyle. The Timberline home features three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, with a total of 2,144 square feet. Included is one regular garage bay, and an additional higher bay that can accommodate two cars, or one RV. Even if you don’t have an RV yet, this is an attractive home design that ensures you have the space for one if you’re planning a purchase in the future. Even buyers who have no plans for an RV can get a lot of use out of the extra-long bay that can house cars and serve as a workshop or storage for other hobbies.

While Millennials are a growing RV market, we know that many RV enthusiasts are often retired and may prefer one-story living and fewer rooms to maintain. Our Timberline floor plan easily fits the needs of both.

There are two bedrooms and a full bath in the front of the home, ideal for children or visiting family members. An additional powder room is located just off the front entry for added convenience. As you move toward the back of the home, you enter into an open plan layout with a spacious kitchen, complete with a walk-in pantry, a dining area, and finally the living room, which leads onto a covered patio. Off to one side is a den/office area, which is useful whether you work for home or have family visiting. On the other side of the living room is the owner’s suite, complete with a coffered ceiling, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom that includes both a shower and a separate bath.

If a home with a dedicated RV garage is what you’re looking for, look no further than our Timberline floor plan. Even if an RV is still a dream, contact us today to learn more about this outstanding home design and all of our homes in Ridgefield WA.
